What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We do not sell your data and we never see your card number.

This document is available in English only. The English text is the binding version.

Who is responsible

Piyush Yadav, a sole proprietor at 14-1-187/1/1, Sitarampet, Hyderabad, Telangana, India, is the data controller for top1board.com. Contact: support@top1board.com.

What we collect

  • Listing details you give us: the display name, the destination website or profile, the category, and any image you upload. All of this is public by design — it is the listing.
  • Payment metadata from our payment processor: an identifier for the transaction, the amount, the currency, the status, and the country the payment came from. We never receive your full card number.
  • Click counts on the outbound link from your listing, stored as daily totals rather than individual visits.
  • Technical data on requests: IP address, user agent and timestamps. Used for rate limiting, fraud prevention and security, and kept only as long as needed for that.
  • Your email address, if you give it to us for support or to be told about your listing.

We do not collect special-category data, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To provide the listing you paid for — performance of our contract with you.
  • To take payment and meet tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and card testing, and to keep the board secure — our legitimate interest in operating a payment-taking service safely.
  • To answer your support messages — performance of our contract, or your consent.

Payments

Checkout is handled by Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. When you pay, you are transacting with them, and their privacy notice and terms apply to that transaction. Card details are entered on their systems and never pass through ours.

Who else sees it

  • Dodo Payments, for payment processing.
  • Our hosting and database providers, who store the data on our behalf under contract.
  • Anyone at all, for the parts of your listing that are public — the display name, image, destination, position and amount. That is the point of the board, and you should not list anything you are not happy for the world to see.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

Where your data goes

We are based in India and our providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside your country. Where data protection law requires a transfer safeguard, we rely on our providers’ standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Listing and payment records: kept for as long as the listing is on the board, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Payment records are part of an accounting ledger and cannot be deleted on request.
  • Technical and security logs: a short period, sufficient for fraud prevention.
  • Support messages: until the matter is resolved, and a reasonable period afterwards.

Cookies

We use only what the site needs to work: a cookie remembering your chosen language, and a short-lived cookie that ties your browser to a checkout you started so that someone else cannot claim your payment. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Write to us and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Two honest limits. We cannot delete a payment record that we are legally required to keep for accounting. And we cannot un-publish something that other people have already seen or screenshotted — we can only remove it from our own site.

To exercise any of these, email support@top1board.com. If you are unhappy with our answer, our grievance officer is Piyush Yadav at grievance@top1board.com, and you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The Service is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, tell us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or why, we will update this page and the date at the top of it in the same release that changes the behaviour — never before, never after.
